Using technology and precision agriculture production methods to be more efficient and more profitable has been happening in various facets of agriculture for many years. While the use of artificial intelligence to assist with some of these tasks may be new to some farmers and ranchers, O’Brien says agriculture researchers have been using AI for over a decade.
